The Entity’s funding process begins with a client submitting a Loan Application Form. If acceptable, the Entity will issue a formal Letter of Intent to fund the project. After a 30-day due diligence period during which the DPLC institution is selected, the Entity will issue a formal Financing Commitment Letter. The entire process takes approximately 90-120 days.

- Interest only for the duration of the financing with principal due at loan maturity
- Available in developed and emerging markets outside of the United States
- Minimal and straightforward loan covenants and restrictions
- Funding serves as both construction and permanent financing (there is no need to refinance a construction loan into permanent financing)
- 100% loan to value the funding, thus eliminating the need for equity
- Ability to prepay any, or all, principal amount, at any time, with no prepayment penalties after five years
- Few loan covenants and restrictions than those typically imposed by a commercial bank or institutional bondholder
- Any assets or project collateral is pledged to the Direct Pay Letter of Credit and not to the Entity
